its not easy about 50% of the time . I  design what i want and most of the time that sells. which is cool cause with the profits i make that goes back into buy more supplies..  besides the one time i had to transfer $50  so i could have a  mini shopping spree at Trader Joes i dont  go there often so ..  i ended up leaving with $35 worth of stuff.

 Designing for others can be a tough. people have the oddest ideas of what looks good.. I been told that maybe some of my designs might not be liked by alot of people. i get tons of great feedback about how cool my designs are and  how  superfast i am  see look here  http://www.etsy.com/feedback_public.php?user_id=948. I have gotten one bad  feedback but to be honset that sale/order was a nightmare from the start.

 

I learned alot from that order. you cant please very one and some peoples  idea of  design is off the hook. meaning .. crazy…

 

I been designing stuff for my own sites since i was  13  i decided i t would take graphic  design at the local  college  here took my first class and passed with the b it was the basic class but still i passed!

1.Do people call you Missevilkitty?

People that know about Missevilkitty do .. But my real name is Gabbie ..

2.Whats youre current Love craft wise?

Vintage Beads are.. I have a small- medium size collection right now. Am hooked.

3.What new item are you the most proud of??

That would be the hair pins

4.At what age did you become a crafter?

For me i would say five. Kindergarden was the first time in my life that i understood that glue and paper did some cool stuff. I really liked kindergarden my life then was easy no lupus, no meds, and no internet to pay… etc….

5.How old where you when you started mek and how old are you now?

I just got out of Hs i was 18 at the time I was a “freshmen” at the local junior college..I am now a much wiser kitty at 23.

6.Are you really a missevilkitty?

mmmm sometimes. actully i am a really nice person .. i am like most (human girl kitty’s) i am nice until you pull my tail ( hehe), no but on the serious side …lupus has really really mellowed me out .

7.do you think missevilkitty.com and missevilkitty.org are going to be around in say 5-10 years?

I really hope so . I been trying to make a my name known since 1998 , so for 8 years i been trying to make my world/empire known. Its been a hard path for me. the online shop world is hard.

8.Whats the current item/s you bought but havent used

i got a small shipment of vintage beads and really cool fabric .

9.What’s one thing you like making alot?.

Felt flowers, I like how they come out all funky but they look so cool in person. I like making my Gummy bear lip balm .. I am new to the soap making world of cold process soap.

10.Have you done any craft shows?

Yes, on 12-1-06 i did another Handborn craft show . I did great but i was kind of bumed out cause i couldnt find my table i used at my last show. I had to buy a card tale which is smaller then my real table .

11.How long do you spend at a craft store buying supplies?.

I am one of those crafters where i spend more then 30 mins. My mom has been known to asks me ” do you need to go buy something ” that means i get a trip to a local craft store and chinese food ! or even my boyfriend Marks the same way hes like ” do you need to go away where “about 50% of the time i am like yeah..Lucky me he actually doesnt mind going to a craft store.

12: When you are at craft shows which items sell the best?

That would be my lip balm and my Soap. The tiny one is the best seller . People like the tiny hearts
